I’m a storyteller fascinated by vulnerability, honesty and the resiliency of the human spirit. I’m a writer out of necessity and inevitability. I’m drawn to and moved by beauty.

I’m a 2013 graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill’s School of Journalism and Mass Communication where I studied reporting with a concentration in political journalism. I worked on projects with incredible professors there and did several internships with newspapers and non-profit organizations.

After college, I spent a year in Raleigh, N.C. working with a stellar group of newspapers’ biggest fans at the N.C. Press Association before moving across the country to live in Yosemite National Park. I lived and worked in Yosemite Valley for a year and a half, first leading trail rides on mules and then working in the marketing department with some of the smartest, most creative, and most fun people in the park.

I’m 24 years old and always up for a new challenge. I’m available for whatever freelance work you can dream up – writing, photography, social media, copy writing, editing. At 24, I still believe that if you can dream it, you can do it. A few years from now, we’ll see.
